The Methodist Home admits residents in need of short-term (subacute) care as well as those in need of continuous skilled nursing services. All applicants are selected without regard for race, creed, national origin, handicap or sponsor.
Visit us
To start the admission process, we encourage you to tour the Home to see all that we do firsthand. We also recommend that you bring the prospective resident so that he or she can be involved in the decision-making process.
The tour provides the opportunity to view the residence rooms and common spaces, as well as the Rehabilitation Center, and to meet our treatment team members. You may come to the Home and receive a guided tour or, if you wish, just drop in and tour the Home on your own. For an accompanied tour, call the Admissions Office at 718-548-5100, ext. 224.
Directions to the residence are located here.
Next, contact the Admissions Director (also on ext. 224) to make arrangements for a personal and confidential interview. This is a required step for admission.
Know before you go
Once accepted for admission, you, or a loved one, will be provided with information on how to prepare for the stay, what to bring and other answers to frequently asked questions.
Payment:
All services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most managed care contracts, including Aetna, GHI, WellCare and HealthFirst. We also accept private pay.
Privacy Practices
