A Dedicated Nursing & Administrative Staff

Many of our nurses, nursing assistants, and support personnel have made the Methodist Home their life’s work providing decades of care and compassion to our patients and residents. Although it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, our greatest joy is when our short-stay rehabilitation patients are able to go home to their families. Our team takes immense pride in providing compassionate top-notch care to help our patients regain their strength, health, and independence.

By fostering an environment that promotes confidence, self-expression and learning, we empower our employees to grow and gain the mutual respect and trust of residents and their families.

A Private Room For Every Patient

Unlike other larger nursing and rehabilitation facilities, we offer short-term accommodations (all private rooms with bathrooms) in our historic, hotel-like residence in Riverdale, New York. Our residence feels like home with a formal dining room, outdoor gardens, and staff-led activities to promote socialization and cognitive functioning. Our private rooms and bathrooms for all our residents help maintain patient dignity and allow families to feel more relaxed and comfortable when visiting their loved ones.

The “Activities of Daily Living” Suite

Our “Activities of Daily Living Suite,” offered in our 2,000 square foot Rehabilitation Center, is complete with a bathroom (including a bathtub), bedroom, and full kitchen so our patients can restore functioning and confidence in an environment similar to home.
