Dr. Roy
Dr. Roy, in her 13th year at Manhattan University, has been a leader in virtually all aspects of the school – from her current role as EVP of Business Operations to serving as the Interim Provost and VP for Academic Affairs to the Assistant VP for Student and Faculty Development.
Her skills – among many – include institutional research/strategic planning (she currently serves as the Co-Vice Chair for the on-going strategic planning process)/and teaching (she serves as a faculty member of Public Health in the Department of Kinesiology).
Dr. Roy has a Ph.D. from Cornell University where she received the NASA Graduate Researchers Fellowship and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. She did a post-doctoral fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery. She is a Board Member of the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation and the Salvadori Center. Dr. Roy has peer reviewed numerous publications and gained mentoring experience through the Introduction to Biomedical Engineering and the Gateways Student Fellowship Program, both at Weill Cornell Medical College. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
Joe McCoy
Joe McCoy is the current Market President for Commercial Lending for Valley Bank. McCoy brings over 25 years of experience to Valley Bank and manages a team of bankers responsible for client relationships and new business development for mid to large sized not for profit and for-profit businesses throughout the Hudson Valley, the Bronx and Fairfield County, CT.
McCoy is active in the Westchester County community serving on the Board of Directors of Yonkers Partners in Education, the Business Council of Westchester and Arts Westchester. He has a BA from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and his MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey and resides in Pleasantville, NY with his wife and three children.
