We are proud to partner with the Rogosin Institute to offer a hemodialysis center in Riverdale Bronx New York. In addition to many specialized programs, the Methodist Home provides long-term residential nursing care for those who can no longer live on their own.
We help our guests “get back to life” after an injury, surgery or stroke with our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, highly qualified therapists and knowledgeable, caring staff. Our interdisciplinary staff collaborates closely with attending physicians from New York Columbia Presbyterian and Montefiore Hospitals to ensure that we are giving our patients the highest level of care.
We’ve partnered with the Rogosin Institute – recognized as one of the country’s premier centers for the diagnosis and management of kidney disease, to build a new, state-of-the-art dialysis center offering in-center hemodialysis treatments to residents in our community who need it to mimic normal kidney function.
Our “Activities of Daily Living Suite,” offered in our 2,000 square foot Rehabilitation Center, is complete with a bathroom (including a bathtub), bedroom, and full kitchen so our patients can restore functioning and confidence in an environment similar to home.
When a loved one can no longer remain at home, the Methodist Home provides a caring, professional alternative. Long-term residents benefit from our skilled nursing rehabilitation program that addresses ambulation, feeding and grooming, communication and preservation of joint mobility. Residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease also benefit from our dementia-certified specialists.
